In what ways do you relax and de-stress when you are really tense?
I do spells and no Xander that isn't a euphemism for anything else. Doing spells relaxes me. It's sort of mindless fun but when I'm not doing that you can always find me in front of the TV. No seriously, ask Kennedy. I'm usually watching something mindless and usually foreign. Bollywood is my favorite and no it's not because I have a crush on Aishwarya Rai. Okay, well maybe a little because of that but it's mostly because their movies are the most fun.
If I watch Chinese movies, Kennedy is like Buffy and she'll criticize all the martial arts moves. Sort of sucks the fun right out of it. With Bollywood movies you can pretend you're getting culture along with it, plus it's fun to make up the dialog. Really though anything where I can check my brain at the door is a good thing. I've learned that the best way for me to really relax is to turn off the brain, too. That's not as easy as it sounds, believe me. Especially for me since my brain can go off on weird tangents when I see something. It's a hold over from my rambling days. I don't ramble as much as I used to or maybe I just censor myself since I tend to do a little bit on inner ramble.
Wow. Okay, maybe I'm still ramble girl.
