Oooh, this is like the 'Anywhere But Here' game I used to play with Buffy when we were out on patrol.

1. If you could live in any city in the world, where would you live and why?

Well, I traveled all over South America getting new Slayers and there were some really great cities there. Scotland isn't so bad either but it's kinda freakin' cold. I've always wanted to go to Venice. That would be a nice place to live. Gondolas, museums, beautiful Italian women. Yeah, I'd pick Venice.

2. If you could speak any language fluently, what would it be?

French. Yeah I know I said I wanted to live in Italy and you'd think I'd pick Italian, but I know Latin so...

3. When was the last time you rode a ferry and where did you go?

I've never ridden a ferry. Do they even still have those?

4. What was the longest plane ride you've ever taken?

Hmmm. Probably to Brazil from California though the plane ride from the US to Scotland was pretty long.

5. If you discovered a country, what would you name it?

Willownia? Just kidding. I'd ask the natives of the country that I 'discovered' what it was called because seriously there isn't any place that wouldn't have natives already there. Even on some other planet there would be beings there.

Now it seems to me, some fine things have been laid upon your table, but you only want the ones that you can't get… (from ‘Desperado’ by The Eagles)

It took me a long time to get over Tara. Well, I'm not over Tara. I guess begin to move on after Tara is a better way of phrasing it. Even when I was with Kennedy there was a small part of me that still felt like I was cheating on Tara with her. That I was being disloyal. It had nothing to do with Kennedy or Tara for that matter. I know she would have wanted me to be happy, just as I would have wanted Tara to be happy if I had been the one that died.

Sometimes I wonder if I was with Kennedy because she was so very different than Tara. Avoiding making comparisons. I mean you can't compare apples to oranges right? I was scared that if I did compare them, it would be a lose/lose situation. I mean I'd feel guilty if I realized what I had with Kennedy was better than Tara, and I'd feel guilty if I realized what I had with Tara was better than Kennedy. So, don't compare and I could keep my head in the sand.

It took me a long time to realize that it wasn't better or worse, it was just different. Like there are different kinds of love, there are different relationships. I loved Kennedy deeply, but it was different than what I had with Tara. Kennedy fed the parts of my soul that Tara didn't, and vice versa.

I guess I learned you really can compare apples with oranges. You find out that you can love both for what they bring to you and what you bring to them.
